Health and wellbeing at the workplace
Matt has over 12 years experience in the fitness industry as a Personal Trainer, Coach and instructor. Having studied at one of London’s premier personal training studios, he has developed his knowledge and understanding of advanced anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and kinetic chain assessment.
Specialising in injury, rehab and performance coaching, Matt has worked with and consulted for some of the best in the business: Dax Moy, Nuffield Health, Lagree Fitness UK, Ten Health and Fitness, Goldman Sachs, Thomson Reuters to name a few.
Matt sees wellness as a journey rather than a one stop action and committed to equip people with the tools, knowledge and techniques to make a sustainable change for the better.
Having spent over 10 years working within the challenging and stressful environment of tech start-ups, corporate and retail world, I know first hand the damaging effects it can have on mental, physical health and lifestyle.
Given that on average we spend circa 1,795 hours at work p/a, it is imperative that we pay attention to wellbeing at the workplace and focus on a balanced life.
I use my experience and passion for teaching ‘at-work’ fitness classes, deliver workshops and education talks all focusing on wellbeing, movement and mindfulness at the workplace.
I use Sport Psychology, Boxing and exercise programming principles to help develop fit body and mind - build confidence, resilience and achieve a happy lifestyle change.
